The next day after our failed attempt on the trident, we woke to another brilliant day, and headed out to have a look at the bigger walls of the Chasm. An hour walk with heavy packs brought us to the end of the peninsula and to the top of our objective, the unclimbed wall on the left side of the Chasm.
Cedar and I decided to rap in and check out the wall, since we knew that walking around to the base would be a very epic adventure. Cedar went first and cleaned things up a bit and then I headed down. We climbed back out up beautiful cracks to the summit. Making the first ascent of the left hand wall in this photo. The right hand wall only has three routes on it.
We came up to yet another beautiful sunset!
We stashed our gear in Pacific Outdoor dry bags and headed back to our camp.

Happy climbing!!
